Specialists from around the globe gathered at the inaugural meeting of the World Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, last May 5 – 7, 2023 at Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai UAE. The Philippines was represented by Dr. Reynaldo Javate, who organized the successful event, with Dr. Mary Rose Pe-Yan, Dr. Yvette Marie Santiago-Gatmaitan and Dr. Honeylen Teo who have been enjoined as founding members. Dr. Pe-Yan gave a talk on Botulinum Toxin A for Treatment of Platysma Bands. Poster presentations were featured from Dr. Santiago-Gatmaitan and colleagues.
