This year’s World Ophthalmology Congress was held in Vancouver, Canada last August 18, 2024. It’s a gathering of ophthalmology colleagues of different subspecialties from around the globe. Representatives from the Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PSOPRS) were among the distinguished faculty. Dr. Alex Gungab together with his mentor, Dr. Gangadahara Sundar from the National University Hospital Singapore, organized the Instructional Course on “Oculofacial Video Documentation for Dummies”. Dr. Gungab gave the course introduction followed by a more lectures on the Principles of Orbit, Oculofacial Photography and Videography and ‘Still and Video Technology Simplified’. Dr. Reynaldo Javate, founding PSOPRS and past-President, delivered a talk on Nasal and Dacryomicroendospic Documentation, Publication and Videos. Among the expert panelists for the course were Dr. Jean Carruthers from Canada and Dr. Stephanie Young Ming from Singapore.
