A few of our members spoke during the concluded midyear convention of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Iloilo last April 26-27, 2018. Among our renowned members who lectured were Dr. Mayos Pe-Yan, Dr. Kenneth Lagunzad, Dr. Armida Suller and Dr. Felice Trina Ranche. Dr. Pe-Yan’s talk was about “Evisceration and Enucleation in Ocular Trauma and Dr. Lagunzad showed his experience in “Eyelid Laceration and Canalicular transection. Dr. Suller presented her expertise in “Orbital Fractures: Diagnosis and Management” while Dr. Ranche reported on “Orbital Trauma.” The oculoplasty trauma session was well attended with a few of our other members in attendance.
