PSOPRS becomes an ASOPRS Reciprocal Society

The American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) is pleased to recognize the Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Inc. (PSOPRS) as a reciprocal society, dedicated to oculofacial plastic surgery. Founded in 1969, ASOPRS has 650 US and 100 international members in over 30 countries.

This prestigious partnership was made possible through the efforts of PSOPRS's past leadership and formalized under PSOPRS President Dr. Yvette Santiago-Gatmaitan and ASOPRS President Dr. Richard C. Allen.

ASOPRS has partnered with only 17 other exclusive international organizations who are also committed to quality aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery of the orbit, eyelids and lacrimal system. Members of reciprocal societies can now apply as an ASOPRS international associate and become eligible to attend ASOPRS members only conferences.
