The Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology celebrated its 75 years in this year’s first ever Virtual Congress, “Forging Forward”! PSOPRS members joined in the roster of virtual lectures. Dr. Milind Naik graced us with his lecture on “Periocular Botulinum Toxin Injections”, accompanied by our local experts, Dr. Jo Anne Hernandez-Tan who lectured on”3 Types of Tarsorrhapy”, Dr. John Kenneth Lagunzad on “Repair of Lid Margin Laceration” and last but not the least, Dr. Catherine Vigo-Matic on “Repair of Canalicular Transection”
Other members who contributed to the lectures were Dr. Alex Sua, Dr. Sandra Worak-Tan and Dr. Roseny Mae Catipon who represented the Clinicopathologic Conference with their series of “Reload Lectures”. We are fortunate to have more members in the field of Ocular Oncology, headed by Dr. Gary Mercado accompanied by Dr. Honeylen Teo and Dr. Andrei Martin, give their respective lectures as well. Dr. Alex Sua gave another lecture in the field of Ocular Pathology.
