On April 20, 2022, PAO-LEAP hosted a talk with Philippine Ocular Genetics Interest Group and Philippine Ophthalmic Pathology. For the first session, POGIG discussed on approaches to genetic eye diseases which was later follow by our PSOPRS representatives from the POP. The second session was moderated by Dr Alex Sua entitled "Orbit is like a box of chocolates."
Dr. Mark Anthony Imperial started things off by giving his knowledge and expertise on the different approaches to managing orbital masses. Next is, Dr Eric Constantine Valera on how he would analyze the Histopathologic features of Small Round Cell Tumors.
And lastly, Dr Andrei Martin who gave a talk on treatment choices for Orbital lymphomas. In summary, we rely on pathological diagnosis to bridge our clinical findings and pursue the best management for our patient. This session was an eye opener and hope to have more in the future.
