During the Sight-Saving month of August, we held another lecture by our very own Dr. Angeles De Leon last August 22, 2020. “Controversies on Blepharoplasty” reeled in more than 250 participants as another collaboration with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology proved to be a success. We were graced by a renowned roster of panelists, Dr. Fatima Regala, Dr. Leonardo Mangubat, Dr. Franklin Kleiner and Dr. Reynaldo Javate. These most experienced oculoplasty consultants generously shared their words of wisdom to the rest of the audience, from handling controversies legally, handling complications and even teaching basic techniques for the younger surgeons.
