As the country continues its quarantine lockdown due to the Covid-19, the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology has formed a Covid-19 Ad-Hoc Committee for continuing education. With the initiation of the Lockdown Lecture Series, it was PSOPRS’ turn to participate last April 14, 2020 at 4pm where around 350 academy members tuned in via Facebook and Youtube. Dr. Sandra Worak-Tan discussed the “Evaluation of Patients with Ptosis”, followed by “Managing the Ptotic Eyelid” which was lectured by Dr. Mark Imperial.
The PAO and PSOPRS, together with the other subspecialties, continue to work together to restart and regenerate education for our members.
