The Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology in cooperation with The Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery gave lectures on “Back to the Future: Periorbital Infections”. This was held last July 31, 2019 at the Barcelon Auditorium at The Medical City.
We were welcomed by our incumbent PAO Vice-President Dr. Margarita Lat-Luna and joined by audiences from institutions from provinces nationwide via livestream videocast.
Dr. Roland Tan talked about Infections of the Eyelids, Dr.Jo-Anne Hernandez -Tan discussed Infections of of the Orbit and Dr. Andrei Angbue-te finished off with Infections of the Lacrimal system. Our lecturers take us back to the basics, most especially for our young ophthalmologists in training.
