The International Thyroid Eye Disease Society held its 2019 symposium in Singapore last February 20-23, 2019. Thyroid eye disease powerhouse panel present were Dr. Mark Lucarelli, Dr. Maarten Mourits, Dr. Don Liu and Dr. Robert Goldberg. Our Filipino delegates once again joined and mingled with the experts. We had 2 submissions, one for an E-poster presentation, titled “Chorioretinal Folds in Thyroid Eye Disease: A case report” by Dr. Arvin de los Reyes , 3rd year resident from St. Luke’s Medical Center and a video presentation titled Endoscopic “Retrocaruncular Selective Medial Inferior Wall Decompression” by Dr. Alex Gungab, 3rd year resident form University of Santo Tomas.
Our PSOPRS president Dr. Raoul Henson was also busy spreading good vibes to our international delegates, as he extends our invitation for the much anticipated 2020 APSOPRS business meeting here in Manila.
