First PSORPS Round Table Discussion (RTD) Of 2018

The first RTD was of 2018 held last March 15, 2018 at the Sentro Oftalmologico Jose Rizal Building in the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). Four oculoplastic cases were presented by the residents of PGH and the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay (UERM). The first talk was about Lacrimal Sac tumors, its incidence and clinical diagnosis and management presented by Dr. Kim Lorenzo of PGH. The second lecture was also by PGH and was presented by Dr. Justin Yao. He lectured on wrapping of orbital implants and also presented a few their cases. The third case was by UERM resident Dr. Roy Reyes. He presented a patient with an extensive lower lid squamous carcinoma – elaborating on its clinical appearance, diagnosis and management. The last presentation was entitled “Canaliculitis: Pathology and Management” by Dr. George Sasuan also of PGH.
