The inaugural Asia Pacific Orbital Disease and Thyroid Eye Disease meeting was held in Singapore last May 26-27, 2023 with the theme Orbiting the Multi-Faceted World of Thyroid and Orbital Diseases. As Thyroid Eye Disease remain a familiar yet challenging condition, recent advances in knowledge and research have resulted in new possibilities in its management. International Thyroid Eye Disease Society (ITEDS) President, Prof. Seah Lay Leng, together with the organizing committee, prepared a comprehensive program featuring the latest on Thyroid Eye Disease as well as talks on a range of orbital diseases, for better understanding on the approach and treatment of orbital diseases. Experts from around the globe have gathered to share their experiences. Members of Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (PSOPRS) have supported and participated in the meeting, Dr. Mark Imperial, PSOPRS Vice-President, Dr. Christine Therese Santos, PSOPRS Treasurer and Dr. Marco Tumalad, together with other delegates and trainees from the Philippines.
