The first round table discussion for this year happened during the lockdown, but this did not stop us from reaching out to our dear residents in training. Last May 14, 2020, the RTD was hosted by UP-PGH via zoom, with two institutions presenting their cases. UE Memorial Medical Center presented a trauma case entitled “Toro” by Dr. Paula Madrid, as she described a hair-raising penetrating injury from a vehicular accident where the handle of a motorcycle entered the orbit.
UP-PGH gave 3 excellent presentations, one about Ankyloblepharon-Ectodermal Dysplasia-Cleft lip/palate Syndrome by Dr. Kevin Sy.
Primary Mucinous Carcinoma of the Eyelid by Dr. Miguel Pascual.
Last but not the least, a case about Cerebral Angiography in Arteriovenous Fistula was presented very comprehensively by Dr. Clarissa Sobrio.
