Our young upcoming PSOPRS members were in line in this year’s 1st Fellows’ Paper Presentation, held at the Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan last February 29, 2020. Dr. Honeylen Teo presented a paper on “Association of Blepharitis and Ectropion with Tumor Necrosis Factor a Inhibitor Treatment in Crohn Disease”, in which Dr. May Singson, our immediate past president suggested that a biopsy of the eyelid would have made the association stronger. Three members presented studies from their fellowship in Japan, one about the “Location of the Myoneural Junction of the Inferior Oblique Muscle”, presented by Dr. Marian Grace Ana-Magadia, “Sex-specific difference in age distribution of congenital lower eyelid epiblepharon in a Japanese population” by Dr. Ma. Regina Valencia and last but not the least, Dr. Maria Suzanne Sabundayo reported on “Orbital trapdoor fractures: Different clinical profiles between adult and pediatric patients”. Dr. Andrei Angbue-Te presented his published paper from the Philippine Journal of Ophthalmology on “True pseudotumors and “Pseudo”-Pseudotumors: A case series”.
