The Philippine Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery proudly presents the new and dynamic team of Executive Committee appointed at the recent PSOPRS Business Meeting at the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO) Annual Convention in December 2024.
Leading the society as President is Dr. Mark Anthony Imperial, and Vice President Dr. Christine Therese Santos, whose dedication and expertise will help strengthen the initiatives of the society even further. The new executive committee also includes:
- Secretary: Dr. Honeylen Maryl Teo
- Treasurer: Dr. Mariel Angelou Parulan
- Auditor: Dr. Manuel Palmero
- Public Relations Officer (PRO): Dr. Jo Anne Hernandez-Tan
- Director of Administrative Activities: Dr. Lionel Raymond Francisco
- Director of Operational Activities: Dr. Andrei Paolo S. Angbue-Te
Together with Immediate Past President Dr. Yvette Marie Santiago-Gatmaitan, whose leadership has significantly shaped PSOPRS growth and status, the committee gathered last January 21, 2025, at Sentro, One Bonifacio to outline the main goals for the coming years. Among these initiatives are to have a Board of PSOPRS aligned with the Philippine Regulations Commission; more educational seminars, at the forefront is the Orbit Masterclass in collaboration with ASOPRS; surgical missions, another fundraising golf tournament and more. The society looks forward to another fruitful term of innovation, education, and service to the community. Congratulations to our new ExeCom team!
